Who we are
We are a Family of 6 who live in Edinburgh and keep bees in our Garden, Hence theSix Honey Co. Dad Stephen and eldest son Ewan recently completed there Beekeeping Certificates but we all take part in Beekeeping and learning about the Bees and why its so important to save the bees. We believe we are the premier Edinburgh Honey Company for genuine Local Edinburgh Honey.
Our vision
Our vision is to to be Edinburgh’s most trusted, Ethical, Environmentally sound and bee welfare conscious beekeepers. We Do everything we can to be as ethical in the way we manage our bees as we can. For example we always make sure our bees have enough honey left to survive the Winter and never over harvest our bees Honey.

Our Local Edinburgh Honey
Is as simply and lightly processed as practical, theSix Honey Co, Heather Honey honeycomb is placed in a muslin bag, and then cold-pressed in a heather honey press. It is then settled in a settling tank to allow some of the air bubbles to rise to the top, and then it is jarred. No further processing takes place, no excessive filtering, no pasteurization, no heating. This meets most people’s definition of RAW Honey however be careful there is no legal definition of RAW Honey in the UK!
